Moving from Matrice 350 RTK to Matrice 400

Review retained payloads individually and budget a new power arrangement alongside the aircraft.

At a glance
  • Name the limitation behind the upgrade.
  • Check retained equipment individually.
  • Compare a complete task with the receiving team.

State the reason to change

For a modular aircraft program, start with one observed limitation in the current workflow. It may be a difficult capture, a missing handoff, a support burden or a production bottleneck. Write down the actual problem so the trial can establish whether it improves.

Matrice 400 is a current option in this store. The older platform remains a comparison reference in this guide; it is not being added to the sellable list. Use the existing working kit and a representative assignment as the baseline.

Retained payloads need an exact check

List each payload by its actual model and verify the current aircraft relationship, mount arrangement and operating requirements. Record retained and replaced items separately. Being a modular DJI payload is not enough to establish that every older combination transfers.

In our confirmed Matrice 400 package, TB100 flight batteries and BS100 are ordered separately. Treat that power arrangement as a new kit decision. Review the actual connector requirements when multiple payloads are planned.

What to keep in the comparison

Trial areaWhat to record
PayloadCheck the exact sensor and installed mount combination.
PowerReview separate TB100 quantities and BS100 charging.
ProductionRepeat the inspection or mapping handoff.

Build a transition order and crew procedure

Check the selected edition’s In the Box before ordering support equipment. Verify batteries, charging, controller and accessories individually; an older kit should not be transferred by assumption. Separate confirmed reuse from equipment needing replacement.

Keep original project records and note capture or processing changes that affect comparisons with previous work. Run one complete task with the new kit and update the specific operator and receiving-team steps that changed. The transition is complete when the crew can use the new output without relying on the demonstration operator.
