Information we collect
UAV Super is operated by UVA Super Store LLC (“UAV Super”, “we”). We collect information you give us directly:
- Quote requests: your name, work email, phone number, company or agency, the products and quantities you are asking about, your intended use and any notes you add.
- Accounts: your name, email address and a password, which is stored only as a hash. Addresses you save: street, city, state, ZIP code, country and phone.
- Orders: ship-to and bill-to details, the products ordered, the serial numbers shipped to you and the payment status. Card and bank-account numbers go directly to our payment processor; we never see or store a full card or account number.
- Correspondence: emails and calls with our sales team about your quote or order.
We also collect a small amount of technical data automatically: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the signals Cloudflare Turnstile uses to tell people from bots on our forms. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. Some articles include a video hosted on YouTube. The player loads only when you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com); once it plays, Google's privacy policy applies to that video.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- prepare and send quotes and invoices, and answer your questions;
- process, review and ship orders, including fraud screening and export-control checks;
- send transactional email: account verification, password resets, order confirmations and shipping notices;
- provide warranty and return support, which relies on the serial numbers recorded to your order;
- keep the accounting and tax records the law requires; and
- protect the site, our systems and our customers from abuse.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work: a session cookie for a signed-in account, a flag that remembers you are signed in, your region selection, and the items in your cart and the products you choose to compare, which stay in your browser. Cloudflare may set a cookie to protect the site from abuse. A YouTube video you choose to play may set its own cookies. None of our cookies are used to track you across other sites, and there are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Third parties
We share information only with the providers that help us run the store, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, site security and the Turnstile check on our forms.
- Stripe — card and ACH payments, including Stripe Radar fraud screening. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs the payment details it collects.
- Resend — delivery of our transactional email.
- UPS and FedEx — shipping. They receive your name, delivery address and phone number.
- Fulfillment partner — a warehouse operator that stocks and ships some orders from Los Angeles on our behalf. It receives your name, delivery address, phone number and the items to ship.
- Intuit QuickBooks — invoicing and accounting records.
- YouTube (Google) — videos in some articles, loaded only when you press play.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to prevent or investigate fraud, or as part of a sale or merger of our business. Personal information is stored and processed in the United States.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details and saved addresses at any time by signing in. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for tax, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Email [sales email] with your request. We verify requests against the details on your account or quote and respond within 45 days.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, together with the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, so there is no opt-out to submit. Residents of other states with comparable privacy laws may use the same contact to exercise their rights.
This site is for business and professional buyers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security and retention
We keep quote, order and account records for as long as your account is active or as needed to support warranty service, returns and our tax and accounting obligations. Payment details are handled by Stripe under its PCI DSS certification. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.
